Autumn Energy Yoga Workshop

Saturday March 23, 1:00-3:30 pm, Tauranga Yoga Centre ($35)

In autumn, as sap withdraws into the roots of plants, we experience a descending energy flow, which may lead to digestive and respiratory imbalances. Other factors such as stress, fatigue, and poor diet can also disrupt our digestive system.

As Traditional Indian Medicine (Ayurveda), this workshop promotes balance in the digestive and respiratory systems, allowing you to start the new season on the right foot. Specific postures and sequences favour toxin drainage and elimination, while others stimulate glands or muscles. Breathing techniques and Bandhas will also help to detoxify our bodies.

Your instructor, Stefan, has a profound passion for yoga and is certified by the European Union of Yoga. He draws inspiration from renowned figures like Desikachar and Kalu Rinpoche. Over the last decade, Stefan has committed to teaching yoga and meditation and organising retreats across France. Stefan’s holistic approach aims to nurture the body, breath, and mind, offering transformative classes for a wide audience.
